Aim of the Program
The APWA Traveling Fellowship Program is aimed to be an international collaboration that will enhance training and exchange of knowledge and skills in wrist surgery.

‘The APWA Traveling Fellowship is a prestigious program that promotes professional exchange and collaboration in the field of wrist surgery. This year, the fellowship was designed to allow three fellows to visit any four hosts of their selection withing the Asia Pacific region, offering a tailored experience to meet individual learning goals and interests.’

‘It was an absolute privilege visiting five different renowned wrist centres in the Asia Pacific region with Matt White (Australia) and Panai Laohaprasitiporn (Thailand) as part of the APWA travelling fellowship 2024. The reason I chose these places were because they were dedicated hand referral centres with a generous patient load, and the mentors of these places were recognized wrist experts with many years of experience in their field.’
